Peter Schüler has performed in numerous festivals, including in Schwetzingen, at Domfestspiele in Königslutter, in Heidenheim and in Japan at the Takamatsu Festival (and more). Concert engagements have taken him to Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Romania, Japan, Ireland and the United States.
Over the years, Peter Schüler has acquired an extensive repertoire covering works from baroque to modern music. He has become an internationally acclaimed concert singer, best known for his original studies of the works of Bach as well as his interpretations of Verdi's Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elias, and Haydn' s Creation. He furthermore performs in at least two opera productions every year.
Peter Schüler has developed a special fondness and expertise for the 'Lied' and has been repeatedly invited to Lied recitals. A significant number of radio and television productions as well as CD recordings document Peter Schülers internaional music carreer.
Most recent engagements have seen Peter Schüler with the Verdi Orchestra in Milan, conducted by Alain Francis (Britten, War Requiem) , with the Württembergisches Kammerorchester in Heilbronn where he replaced Thomas Quasthoff, conducted by Jörg Färber (Mozart) and with the Brno State Philharmonic in Czechia, conducted by Gerhard Markson (Beethoven, Missa Solemnis).
He participated in masterclasses led by Seymor Bernstein, New York and Shirley Kirk, Great Britain. In 2002, he was the winner in the International Gerda Lissner Vocal Competition in New York.
